HOW DOES TATTOO REMOVAL WORK?
IT WORKS BY USING THE AW3® ND YAG Q SWITCHED LASER TO SHATTER THE TATTOO INK PARTICLES INTO SMALLER PARTICLES, THIS ENABLES THE BODY TO REMOVE THEM NATURALLY THROUGH THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM. THIS WORKS BY THE LASER GENERATING SHORT BURSTS OF HEAT WHICH ONLY TARGET THE INK. BECAUSE THE TATTOO INK SELECTIVELY ABSORBS THE LASER ENERGY, THE SURROUNDING SKIN DOESN’T OVERHEAT AND THERE IS NO LASTING DAMAGE.
DOES TATTOO REMOVAL HURT?

NUMBING CREAM CAN BE APPLIED PRIOR TO TREATMENTS, BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS FROM YOUR PHARMACIST AND NOT ONLINE (MANY ONLINE PRODUCTS ARE NOT LEGAL OR SAFE)
HOW LONG DOES TATTOO REMOVAL TAKE?
TATTOO REMOVAL GENERALLY REQUIRES 2-6 SESSIONS, DEPENDING OF FACTORS SUCH AS COLOUR, TYPE OF INK AND DEPTH OF TATTOO.
DOES IT WORK ON COLOURED TATTOOS?
OUR ND YAG Q-SWITCHED LASER (1064NM/532NM) WORKS ON ALL RANGES OF COLOURS, HOWEVER COLOURED INK DOES TAKE LONGER THAN BLACK INK AND WILL REQUIRE MORE SESSIONS, THE MOST RESILIENT COLOURS BEING BLUE AND GREEN.
WILL IT LEAVE A SCAR?
BECAUSE THE TATTOO INK SELECTIVELY ABSORBS THE LASER ENERGY. THE SURROUNDING SKIN DOESN’T OVERHEAT AND THERE IS NO LASTING DAMAGE. PINPOINT BLEEDING CAN OCCUR, BUT AS LONG AS THE AFTERCARE IS FOLLOWED AND YOU HAVE DECLARED ANY POSSIBLE CONTRAINDICATIONS THAT COULD PUT YOU AT RISK OF SCARRING AT YOUR CONSULTATION, THE CHANCE OF SCARRING IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

After regretting a tattoo (or two) i decided to find a local tattoo removal business. I found Laserlane on instagram and dropped them a message. Genna responded promptly and answered all my questions & concerns, from the get go she eased my nerves on having tattoo laser removal. My first appointment went great, and i have since been visiting Genna every few weeks.
